Default Howdy folks.
My name's Sarah, I'm a 21-year-old living in Oregon. I guess I joined this forum to learn about new & different music. If anyone were ever curious, I took my username and signature from the song Strychnine by The Sonics.
I can't control the urge to list some favorites:
Tom Waits, David Bowie, The Smiths, CocoRosie, The Beatles, Coil, Devendra Banhart, Arcade Fire, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Leonard Cohen, Joanna Newsom, Jacques Brel, Grizzly Bear, The Mars Volta, Howlin' Wolf, Joni Mitchell, Defiance, Ohio, Melt-Banana, James Brown, Gang of Four, Bob Dylan, Broken Social Scene, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, The Stooges, The Sonics, Velvet Underground, T. Rex, Sigur Ros, The Doors, The Cramps, Hella, Einsturzende Neubauten, NWA, James Chance & the Contortions, Patti Smith, Dirty Three, and many more.

Heck yes, it's been one of my favorite books since 3rd grade and it still stands as such.
