Hi!
I'm called Zed, short from Johann Andreas von Zedmann. I'm 18 years old, male, from Estonia and currently occupied with studies.
I like listening to black and ambient metal. Also all sorts of doom metal, old school gothic bands ( Dreadful Shadows, Cinema Strange etc.). So in general, let's just say metal. Although, I also enjoy blues and some punk bands.
I love playing all sorts of instruments. Currently I'm able to play the drums, guitar, bass guitar, harmonica, bagpipe and some other folk instruments (chord harp and such and such). On one day, I would like to get hold of a violin or a chello and learn to play one of them.
I also enjoy poetry. Both reading and writing, from world wide known poets my favorite is Edgar Allan Poe.

So... I think that's pretty much it :]

Welcome to MusicBanter. Thanks for the nice introduction! I don't think I've ever talked with someone from Estonia.

Heh heh...I love playing instruments, too, but I've never tried bagpipes! How did you happen to get a chance to learn to play bagpipes? I just bought a harmonica, and hope to learn how to play it better. It *seems* like such a simple instrument...

I hope you do get hold of a violin, which is the instrument I've played the longest. Like you, I want to try cello...such a lovely sound.

Finally, I also enjoy poetry! I more than enjoy it. I love it. Since you like metal music, I'm not surprised you like Edgar Allan Poe's writing!

Well, we are people here like in any other place.
And about bagpipe, I just joined with some local folk band.. We play old songs, dance old dances and that kind of stuff. They gave me my own bagpipe so I could practice for auditions.

So what sort of black metal bands are you into? (seeing as that's the only genre we seem to have in common)

I must say, it's quite impressive that you can play that many instruments. Lack of funds, and more so, laziness, have prevented me from attempting any. If I had the choice, I'd take drums, but I'm sure my mom would murder me due to the excessive banging.
