Salutations from Bahrain!
 

Hey everyone, I am Dave. I am 22 years old and I am currently living in Manama, Bahrain because I am on a seven month deployment for the Navy. I am homeported in San Diego, California right now and I live with my beautiful wife Hannah and adorable puppy Macy. My real home/heart is in Texas however and I can't wait to go back there really soon. Music is my passion and I love to play the drums when I can. Used to be in a band before I joined the Navy and I'd love to get back in one sometime. Looking forward to meeting some cool people on here who can get me into some sick bands and let me in on where the awesome shows are. Thanks in advance for the friendship and I hope to talk to you all very soon. Take care and carpe diem.

Welcome to Music Banter!

Well the kind of band I was in would most directly be linked to the 'screamo' genre I suppose but in my opinion I brought a little something heavier to the band as I consider myself more of a 'hard rock' drummer, old school style. I can't do double bass very well so I just beat the crap out of my drums in a style I'd like to consider almost John Bonham-esque although I could never be as good as him.
