hello from europe
hejhej,
I'm rob...living somewhere in europe. just found this page some days ago and think it's really interesting. I'm running an music magazine (or better to say it's hopefully getting one oneday) and so it is very interesting for me to see what music is discussed in the US at the moment. furthermore much of the things discussed here is good for me and I hope to discuss a lot with you. I played in some screamo / metal bands in the past...now I'm much more into postrock, shoegaze, ambient, indie music. absolute favorite bands: jeniferever, logh, tiger lou, intohimo. currently on my playlist: dufresne. all the best from over here to everyone, rob |
hello rob, I don't much care for your username

I completely understand how much fun it is to see what kind of music people are discussing...but note that not all MusicBanter people are from the U.S.! According to this MusicBanter traffic report, only 29% of members are from the U.S., and 77% of pageviews are from the United Kingdom: Quote:

Hello from Asia.
I hear Europe is very good this time of year. |
I love jeniferever, welcome to MB. I actually immediately thought you were into emo from the arrangement of your name.

@ VEGANGELICA: thx for the information. but still better than discussing on those german boards over here. of course they are not bad, but I want to know more :D
@ NumberNineDream: define "very good"...I don't like summer. much too warm for me ;) @ Dr.Seussicide: Jeniferever is more emo than any emo-band could ever be ;) |

And now this makes me wonder...are you from Germany? There are a couple German members I know of here at MB, but not a lot. Sometimes I wonder, "Where are all the Germans!?" on MusicBanter. Maybe they're all over on those other boards you mention! Hehe, your description of Jeniferever amused me, so I listened to some of her songs to hear someone who is "more emo than any emo-band could ever be!" The songs weren't too bad, I thought. They include a lot of bells, and I like bells. :) |
