Greetings!

I've been looking for a decent "catch all" type music geek type forum not devoted to a specific band, genre or audiophilia for a long time. This looks like that type of place so I look forward to partaking of the discussions here.

You certainly are correct. Welcome to Music Banter.

You have as signature, one quote that reminds me of one of the most revolting events of my University life. Still, it inspired a lifetime of inside jokes, which is always good.

As for now, welcome to MusicBanter.
Got any favourite bands?

Does anyone else want to know what NNDs story is? I sure do!

Anyway, welcome to the forums. :)

lol, we had this perv acting teacher, and we had to make a scene with him, where he should talk to us into buying a chair. So it was my female friend's turn, and they were both sitting on opposite chairs and there started the perverseness:

Teach: Why don't you want to buy the chair? Try touching it.
Student: Why would I want to touch it?
Teach: Don't you know what Ionesco said: "Take a circle, caress it and it will become vicious." Come on, make the chair vicious. Caress it. Touch it.
Student: Huh?
Teach: C'mon, touch it (and he started caressing the chair).
Student: I still don't want to buy this chair.
Teach: Why don't you want to buy it?
Student: It's just not comfortable enough.
Teach: Should something enter your rear, for you to enjoy it?
Student: Not really, I just want a comfortable chair.

So after this incident, whenever someone asks for something, we just tell him "caress it" in this creepy paedophile voice... That's not the worst thing this guy has done. He got slapped a couple of times by students. After a while, you just try to laugh at what happens with him.

So there, Moje.

Lots and lots of 'em from the sixites all the way through to the present. The prog & psychedelia forum has me especially drooling so that gives you a vague idea of where I'm coming from.

Hurray for the 60s! That is my favourite decade.
You deserve a second welcome.
