Hallo! Welcome to MB... You do sound very interesting.
I have been learning some German for few months now, I guess I can ask you: Wie geht's?

Tho I don't know how this question will really add to what you already said... anyway, welcome to the boards, and enjoy your stay.

Ich kann auch Deutsch. A little, anyway.

I love the country and the language, but I can't adjust to the word order very well. Or to all those stem changing and separable prefix verbs. =/

Hello Schmidti, and welcome!

Say...you should meet someone I know in the songwriting section named Schmidti. He's very nice and quite an accomplished musician!

He has a penchant for riding around on a funny bike, though. And he sings about root voles. (!!!) I don't know...maybe you wouldn't hit it off...but I think you would!

Hi, Erica! :-D I'm sorry, you got that wrong, I just replied so lately, because I didn't recognize that anyone wrote here, this was stupid, I know. If you look at the date of the thread, you'll realize that I'm the "old" Schmidti with the Hippie Bike :-) But thank you for officially welcoming me! You must have thought that all Germans are named Schmidti, right?!
