Hey guys I'm from North Carolina. I love everything about music, and all kinds of music; HOWEVER skate punk is by far my favorite.

I'm here to learn about new bands and rediscover some old ones

Thanks! I think that NOFX is probably my favorite, followed by old school Blink 182 and Green Day

I mostly listen to hardcore punk now, but I started off loving stuff like Green Day and NOFX.

i love Green Day, they've been going for 20 something years and theyre still going strong. Blink 182 isnt bad, neither is NOFX. Although around here, you might not wanna talk about any mainstream bands that you're into too much, THEY WILL SHOOT YOU. just a forewarning.

Some will, but I'm not ashamed to admit that I love Green Day, new and old.

no prob. although a lot of people on here can give you some suggestions from really cool bands that no ones ever heard of, one of my fave things about this site is all the suggestions i get.
