Hi from Argentina!

Hi! I've been reading this forum for a couple of days and finally decided to register. My ears are always looking for new music to hear, and this seems to be a great way to make them happy!
Introduction, ok... I'm Leni from Argentina and I'm studying to be an actuary. My english is not that good, so I'm sorry if I make any mistakes or if I misunderstand something!
My favourite musicians, that's a hard question cause I have quite a mixed taste, but if I had to choose 5 to take to a desert island they'd probably be Elliott Smith, Radiohead, Flogging Molly, Sigur Rós and Lisandro Aristimuño (an Argentine songwriter).
I've read I can't put links yet, so I'll just mention that my lastfm profile name is leni-clementine and that I'm very friendly so don't be afraid to say hi if you feel like it hahaha.
I think I've written far too much, I'd better stop now.
Bye! Have a great day!!!

Welcome aboard! Also, your English doesn't seem so bad to me.

Your English is better than a lot of English speaking people here. :)

Good to have ya on the forum!

Where in Argentina are you from? Last year I spent a month in Montevideo and became pretty familiar with Argentina, as well as Uruguay.

Uruguay is basically Argentina's 24th province anyways. ;)

Cool!! Montevideo must be very nice, I went once as I child but I don't remember much. Did you get to travel here in Argentina?
I'm from San Miguel, it's a city in the north-west of Gran Buenos Aires. And yes, Uruguay is pretty much another province, though you shouldn't tell that to an uruguayo! haha.

Hi Leni!
Suppose you liked eternal sunshine of the spotless mind?
I preferred the blue color too ;D.

Eitherway, your taste of music looks good to me and I think it really suits this forum :).

Your English seems fine, but then I'm struggling with mine too so what do I know :D.

There's actually a classical guitar player from Montevideo on my own forum. He lives in the Netherlands now. His name is Jorge Oraison, don't know if you've heard of him. He has made some records :).

Thanks! It's a great way of improving the language, or at least making it less "school of english" hahaha.
I don't know the guitar player you mentioned, but Uruguay has great musicians, like Jorge Drexler and El Cuarteto de Nos!
And yes I love Eternal Sunshine :D

I had the feeling you did ;D.

Your english may not become 'text book' by attending a forum like this, but it sure does help when you need to express yourself. I note that I have to think less of what I say already (and I'm here for a week or so).
It could also be because I feel at home and therefore care less about my english.
One way or the other, it's an improvement :).
