Default Hi I am Caleb :)

Hello everyone, I found this site earlier today, and I believe I have a new home page. Good stuff on here!
A little about me.. I am a music fanatic. I've played violin for 18 years. I also sing, play drums, piano, bass, mandolin, and the harmonica. I am an avid guitar collector. I have 12 of them :P. I love most kinds of music and am always up for expanding my horizons.
I am currently in two bands. I play guitar/sing and play drums. In the other I just am the front man. If you have any questions about what guitars I use or anything else feel free to ask. I hope to meet some cool people! From what I've seen that won't be hard. Take it easy

Welcome to MB! I like how you're dedicated to playing instruments. 18 years playing violin takes a lot of dedication! I've been playing flute going on 14 years now, and guitar for about 6 or 7. Hope you enjoy it here!

that's great nice to meet you burning down, i wish I had the knack for woodwind instruments like you do. Closest I get is the harmonica. You have the best of both worlds! I'd be really interested to hear the music you dig at some point whether it be classical or contemporary

I like both classical and contemporary! Rock and jazz mostly. I'm a university music student so classical music is part of regular study. There's a video of my flute playing ssomewhere in the #1 instrument thread.

Im aquiring a stronger taste for jazz. I like the traditonal 12 bar blues with someone manipulating the pentatonic scale. But im growing more fond of the precussion side of things too. Let me know if you find some good quality jazz worth listening too.

How about this? It's not a bad place to start if you're a blues fan.

Here's a sample:

And welcome aboard by the way!
