Default New, but not so new.

So, apparently I joined this forum in April of 2010, but never actually posted. And then I found the site again, and tried to sign up but it said my username was already in use, LOL.

So anyways. My name is Jordyn, I'm 17 and am from Canada. I've been playing guitar for 7 years self taught, and picked up the bass a few months ago as their is a high demand for bass players in my area. About two weeks ago a buddy of mine and I (singer) decided we were serious about starting a band. So, eventually we found a drummer, and a lead and rhythm guitarist. We're just starting to get into practing, so I am very stoked on that.

My favorite band is Billy Talent --as you can tell by the sig. They've been my favorite band since grade 5, and in my honest opinion hold true to the true meaning of punk-rock music. They write songs I can relate to, and love so much. I also listen to Thursday, Riverboat Gamblers, Silverstein, Rise Against, the Used, Green Day and select others.

I skateboard, and want to get into tattoo design because I love drawing.

Music is my life, so I hope to find this place really kick-ass as I'm sure it will be.

Cheers,
Jordyn.

Welcome Jordyn. Better late than never.
I hope you don't mind me saying that the picture below your postings (what's the right word for that?) is rather huge .

Billy Talent are great. What did you think of their third album?

I used to love Billy Talent, actually listened to some of Billy Talent & Billy Talent II on the bus into town yesterday. Try Honesty, The River Below, Fallen Leaves, Red Flag, Covered in Cowardice <3

Of course it is. Your old account is still active! Why don't you use your old account instead of making a new one?

Lovelovelove.
I had nothing negetive to say about III, or the other two, OR their album under Pezz because... that was a hilarious album.
The bass was louder, the guitar was clean and awesome as always, all of the songs had meaning as always, and I loved it.
Because they spread the release of all their albums out, and actually take a few years to perfect their albums... I appreciate each individual album so much more. Whereas a band who comes out with albums yearly, proves they don't put effort in.

That's one of the biggest reasons I love them so much, and have stayed a true life-long fan all these years.

I know people who went to high school with Billy Talent, and then a bunch of other people who went to the same school later on.
