Me too! It's funny but I've always thought rain in the desert smelled like butterscotch pudding.

Anyway, welcome!

I've always loved when you could feel a change in the weather before it arrived.
And sometimes it's possible to smell the rain before it actually gets there.
I love that

Janszoon- That sounds like some delicious smelling rain, lol! Where I live it's usually more just a fresh, clean smell (as best I can describe it anyway). And thanks for the welcome

s_k- Definitely. I'm so ready for spring now though. The weather has been really nice lately, so I'm pleased.

If you read this, btw, I take it you use Firefox? What add-ons do you use?

Ehh, not too much. I sometimes add some when I need them.
I always have forecast fox, gmail manager and adblock plus installed.
At PC's where I have an old fashioned mouse (I use a trackball with back/forward buttons on my office PC and mouses with back/forward buttons on most of my other PC"s) I also install Firegestures. And then I sometimes use reloadany whenever I need it but I don't install that by default.
Apart from that my firefox looks rather firefoxy.
See attachment below

I should admit that I'm not that much looking forward to spring.
I am really a winter person. I have a summer dip and I really feel good in the winter.
You'll see. So far so good, but I feel I'm going down already.

Yeah, I don't have a ton of add-ons either. But the ones I do have, I adore: Fox Clocks, Adblock Plus, All-in-One Sidebar, and StumbleUpon.

All-in-One Sidebar is like how I organize all my bookmarks, etc. All my stuff is in folders, etc. Love, love it!

And StumbleUpon, gah....so damn addicting. But I love it. You should definitely try it out. It basically takes you to random-ish (based on ur prefrences) websites. So you can discover lots of cool things.

You can take a look at my stumble upon 'profile' if you want to get an idea of what I mean: holly984's favorite websites - StumbleUpon

I took a screenshot too, so you could see my firefox browser.

It is really simple, and those personas and stuff don't work on mine...so gray it is. You can also see the all in one sidebar thingy Get it!! lol

I appreciate all seasons, to an extent. For could there really be a winter, w/o a summer? :P Jk

My faves would probably be fall (the cooling weather, anticipation of holidays), winter, and spring. Summer would be least fave, just because I don't like it too hot. I was considering moving to Austin, seems like a fab place, but I don't think I could take the heat. And in Arizona, omg...was there with some friends on a trip, and walking outside was like walking into an oven. I'm an A/C whimp.

Fox clocks might come in handy with this forum here. I have to watch the time zones every now and then.
I like the idea of StumbleUpon, but then I won't use it. I love surfing for the sake of it, running into nice stuff, but I rather use my time finding stuff I actually look for. Music, mainly. Well... Just music, I guess
As far as bookmark organizing goes, I'm a pro. Have you seen the screenshot? Folders everywhere. I have a very cleaned up computer anyway. I can't stand having my stuff lying around everywhere, on tons of different computers (I have quite a few), so I am very organized when it comes to computers .
I like my screen as clean as possible. I always have everything full screen (one reason I can't stand macs I guess . Sorry to say that, looking at your screenshot. I've really tried, but I just can't adapt myself to the way Macs 'think' for me).

I have to admit, it does look interesting.
Might make an account there.
I believe my ex-girlfriend has an account there, I should ask her if it's suited for me (she knows me very well ;D).

I see another picture of the same girl at your stumbleupon account.
So that's really you?
You're going to get a lot of attention here, mark my words .
Well, apart from you looking good, you seem really nice so far.
Look at us go *blah blah blah*. I like that!
Hope you stick around

Well... There can be snow without summer.
And I love snow!

I love fall and winter. Fall is a bit downish sometimes, but it can be so incredibly beautiful. I think spring is overrated. Yes it could be nice, but all it is here is rainy. Blossoms are there for like five days and then they're gone.
I like sunny weather, but I don't like heat. I am running around in a t-shirt now (it's a bit colder here than there), no prob, but I can't dress for heat. Yes I could go run around naked. Don't want to, won't even take off my shirt 'cause I'm a fat ass. Bit ashamed of that.

Arizona... The name alone sounds really hot.
All I know about Arizona is that Tucson is somewhere in it.
And that's where my favourite band comes from

I'm fairly new myself, but heck, welcome!

I'm liking a good deal of your favorite bands. I approve.

Hi! I'm a bit late to the welcome wagon.

I bolded the acts just to tell you what I think.

I quite like Colbie Caillat, but she seems to have fallen out of favour, chart-wise anyway.

Coldplay I only like three songs - Yellow, Violet Hill and King of the World

If you like CCR, you should check out the Allman Brothers Band, they're a bit more elaborate, but carry the same vibe.

Owl City's Fireflies sound a bit like DCFC.

Muse I only really like the Absolution album and bits of Black Holes and Revelations

Only Oasis album I like is Don't Believe the Truth

Radiohead I like almost all their albums cept for Pablo Honey and OKC, which I think is overrated.

My favourite White Stripes is Get Behind Me, Satan.

If you like Van Morrison, you should check out Nick Drake although I have to admit Drake's very depressing.
