The Misfits are great band...so far I have no idea what type of music you like so I'll just post more videos...

I am a fan of Scott Stapp's vocals.

I like the vocal's in creed as well but def like alterbridge's music more.

Breaking Benjamin - all their stuff is very good just slow
Skillet - Same very good just a bit slow

Really? they annoy the crap out of me.

The whole marbles in the mouth singing never appealed to me.

Yes, Breaking Benjamin is a good suggestion, Cold, Crossfade and Evan's Blue you may also want to try.

cold, and crossfade the same I really like these artists, looking for that sound but a punk version

I would suggest Freak Kitchen, Dream Theater, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Additionally, I suggest Primus, Bumblefoot, and Infectious Grooves.

I'm playing off your desire for excellent bass.

If you are at all happy, I'll provide more suggestions. If not, I'll try to refine my suggestions and try something else.

Let me know, cheers.

freak kitchen, and dream theater were pretty far off
red hot chili pepers is always good but still no
def didn't like primus or bumblefoot either

Try Misfits. I know a lot of people who listen to different stuff who like the Misfits, Ramones are good too.

misfits and ramones are too linear for me in general but not the style i'm looking for either

Lonemisfit: no, lol brocas helm was the best but didn't like any of them

I definitely don't like music with the 80's classic rock or classic hard rock sound

thanks everyone for all your suggestions! this is really helping me narrow it down my radio list is getting much better

the simplest description i can make is atreyu(the curse album) without screaming and maybe more dynamic vocals.
or breaking benjamin or the used but faster and more 'furious' but again w/o screaming

I love emotional poetic music so screaming can sometimes work for a line or two but 95% of the time i don't enjoy screaming at all.

anymore power metal or nu metal suggestions?

Get the feeling you've judged everything based on one song, which really is not a thorough way to find music.

what rapinatore really needs to do, if his/her intention is in fact to find a home-genre, is to explain to us why these opinions have flourished. What don't you like about screaming? Because 9 out of 10 times its part-in-parcel with aggressive guitars.

Either we have different definitions of aggressive or screaming, but somethings don't adding up.
