Hi. :shycouch:

I am shy.

I love music, but I am shy.

Okay.

Hello shy music lover.

Welcome to MB...what kind of music and bands are you into?

It's ok, we don't bite.

Well....not all of us.

Hi, welcome to MB!!

Hello, cal, and welcome!

I agree with you that music is lovable. Do you find yourself liking particular songs by a musican or group, or do you often like everything they have created?

I used to be shy myself. Occasionally I still hide out behind the sofa. Not very often, but sometimes I can be found there. :)

Well you see it all started with Linkin Park... than I moved on to Creed... and so forth.

But 99% of the time, I only like a particular song and not the entire album. It's the greatest disappointment to buy an album and only listen to one or two of the songs on it.

Especially over time some bands like Linkin Park start changing their style, I no longer like them.

Nowadays I might listen to the most recent pop song or to techno / trance / kind of music.

Sometimes, I discover a video game I like and start collecting music that would fit into that game. An example would be the GTA series.

shyness is nice
but shyness can stop you from doing the things that you really want to

I'm a song person also. I agree with you that it is a disappointment when a group makes one or two good songs and then a bunch of others that are forgettable or, worse, bad.

I haven't actually listened to any (or many) Linkin Park or Creed songs. Would you like to post your favorites up in the forums?

And I know nothing about the Grand Theft Auto series. There is a whole genre of songs made specifically for video games, isn't there? But now I know you aren't the only one interested in music for video games, because I just listened to...

Welcome mate. We're all a bit shy at times.

When I first joined the site I only listened to single songs off as albums as well, but that changed over time, and could have been the single greatest thing that ever happened to my life. It's either a whole album, or no album. Anyways, welcome to the site.

I think it might be an age thing.

I'm not saying this applies to everyone but when I was younger. I mostly only listened to singles or I would skip through an album not listening to songs in their entirety to pick out my favorites.

Nowadays, I will give an album my full attention and suffer through the filler tracks.
