Default Hey guys

Introducing myself,

I am from Florida currently living roughly 8-9 months out of the year in Costa Rica. I listen to a lot of music down there and it helps to keep me sane while cooped up on a farm with only my family for the many months on end.

I like many different kinds of Music but for the most part I stick with Classic Rock and Classic or Alternative Country, some Country Rock and hard Rock too. Don't really care for modern pop or rap/hip hop/r and b/ anything produced after 1979 with notable exceptions.

I can play some guitar but can't sing worth a damn. I can play the Harmonica and at one point in time the trumpet. That last one was for school. I wanted to play the flute, but all my friends were playing the trumpet and told me the flute was gay....I caved.

That's too bad, especially if you're done now but whatever. What are your notable post 1979 listening exceptions?

Welcome to the site btw

Thanks for the Welcome!

The notable exceptions are some of Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen. Foo Fighters and Green Day are okay too. Joan Jett's "I love Rock and Roll" album was good I thought.

Steve Earl is an important one too.
