Hey guys! Figured I would pop on here and make my self known. My name is Mike, im a 25 year old musician etc etc. Stumbled upon this website, and realized there are a few good forums still out there with active members! So I figured I would try it out! I sing for 2 bands here in Albuquerque, im not gonna bother saying the names unless asked, because im not here to promote, but hopefully I can meet some other musical minds!

How long does it typically take for a profile picture to actually be viewable on your posts?

Well, for it to show up, you actually have to go to the "edit avatar" link in the user CP. You uploaded a profile picture, which will only show up on the profile.

First, welcome to MB! Second, the images that appear under usernames are avatars, and that can be edited under User CP > Edit Avatar. Just upload a photobucket or flickr link OR an image from your hard drive, click SAVE and it will appear immediately.

If you want a bigger image than the 50x50 limit (or whatever it is), please upload a link to the picture here: http://www.musicbanter.com/editors-p...-requests.html because moderators (like myself) have the ability to give you a larger avatar. You won't see your post in that thread, but rest assured that one of us will see it. It might take a little time before someone sees the link and uploads your picture so just hang tight :)
