Default Hello People :)

I'm from Turkey, and just found this forum. I'm here for sharing tastes, information, and discussing about the music all over the world. In addition, I am planning to share, and help people learn about Turkish music, and the industry. Nice to be here, peace

Curious if there is a hardcore scene over there? I've been hearing interesting bands coming out of the Middle east with regards to that genre.

Sorry that I reply late

I am posting music from different genres, both new and old sounds, eastern Turkish and Western Turkish, in the 'Country, Folk & World Music' section of the forum, under the topic 'A New Turkish Song Everyday'. I hope you enjoy them

Thank you all for this warm welcome

And about Turkish music industry, it's actually like the worlds music industry today, we have some respected well known artists, young and old, but on the other hand there are lots of new meaningless bad stuff being released everyday, some pop songs all sound like each other, but of course still some jewels shine between them. By the way, I don't like to call any musical creation 'meaningless' or 'bad', but I think you understand what I'm saying, by saying that, I mean just some songs composed on a popular template, only to earn money.
