Hello from OKC!
 

Hey guys!

I'm Jen and I am from OKC, OK. We actually have a pretty happening music scene and I'm happy to be involved with it. I love going to shows and listening to new music.

I'm really into alt-J, The xx, Jack White, Kanye West, Damien Rice, etc. As you can see, a wide array of genres...I like everything! I love getting music recommendations and I love giving them out too.

I'm excited to be on the forum!

Welcome to MusicBanter, Jen! I'm not familiar with the Oklahoma City music scene, but I'm glad you are taking advantage of it and enjoying the shows. Do some of your favorite bands perform there frequently?

We have a pretty famous venue called Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, OK which is about an hour and half away from OKC. A lot of my favorite bands come through there so it's awesome for that. OKC has a lot of great local bands.
