Default Hello everyone! Brando here :)

First of all, I cannot believe that I didn't find this website earlier, because it's like a fricken giant community of music lovers from all over the place! I've been meaning to discuss and share around music for quite some time, but it just doesn't exist around places like soundcloud or bandcamp; now I have a good source to find out about new artists and to talk about them, which I'm actually kind of stoked about.

Once I'm eligible, and once I get more of a feel for this site, I'd love to share my own song lyrics and musical work that I've created (it'll most likely be in that neat artists' corner for original songwriting and poetry work).

Anyways, I'm glad to be here, and I'd love to hear from everyone! I'm Brandon, or Brando for short.. good to meet ya all

Welcome to MB Brando.

What are some of your favorite artists/bands that you are into?

Ello DJ Chameleon! I've got quite a handful from all over the place in different eras. As far as mainstream, top 40 artists go, I really enjoy Lorde. I like a lot of obscure indie artists, bands from the 80s like Depeche Mode or the Cure.. I like me some classical music every now and then.. And I'm also really big on EDM (I like the classics like Van Buuren, Benassi, Paul Van D., etc... and modern ones like Calvin Harris)

I'm a Lorde fan myself.

The two big genres that I mainly focus on are Hip Hop and EDM so I'm sure we'll get along. Lately I have been getting more and more into Trap.

I have to say it but Depeche Mode and The Cure are not really that obscure when it comes to indie artists. Stick around here long enough and you will see a new definition of obscure but in a good way. You'll discover bands that you've never heard of and actually enjoy.

I think he was differentiating between those two categories. DM and The Cure aren't really indie at all.

But anyhow, welcome to MB Brando_Music! I hope you'll enjoy it here.

yeah I missed the comma that separates the two in his list.
