Default Hello All, I'm the Funkdoktah.

Hello people of musicbanter.com.

I've nicknamed myself the funkdoktah. I am guess I'm obligated to tell you that I am not a doctor. Nor do I play funk. Although I like to listen to funk sometimes.

I like to listen to music pretty much all the time, but sometimes I turn the music off for a second to talk to people or to sleep. Stuff like that. I like pretty much all sorts of music, and try to listen to new music with an open mind and no prejudice at all, because you can find gems everywhere.

Uhm, I guess that was it. I signed up here today, because I found J & J's Seven Songs thread via Google when searching for Jazz Noir. It looks like a solid forum.

Welcome aboard! It's pretty funny you found us through me and Jackhammer's old thread of all things, but sort of flattering that it made you want to join.

Who are some of your favorite artists?

Hey, yeah I'm listening to the different mixes now. A lot of the songs are new to me, so it's great to fun to hear.

Right now, my favorites are The Wombats, Howlin' Wolf, Jimi Hendrix and highasakite. From your last.fm, it seems we have the Beach Boys, the Beatles, M83 and A$AP Rocky in common.

More importantly, we have Rocket from the Crypt in common.

That's 'Birdman' from the Seven Songs thread, but I'm going to check some more of their stuff after I've done my 10 Song Shuffle list.

^Haha. Yes. I did check out more tracks though. I wish "Middle" was longer. "Scream, Dracula, Scream" album seems good.
