Currently a 17yr old guitar player, been playing for 4 or 5 years now I can't remember. Artists I like include RHCP, REM, The Smiths, The Stray Cats, Robert Gordon's stuff, Chet Atkins, Bob Dylan, Squeeze, The Clash and above all: Dire Straits

I came here because I'm in a bit of a rut. I figured coming to a place where I could talk to other musicians might give me some inspiration and help cure the burnout. It's rough not having any musical friends to play with :(

So I'm just dropping by to see how the community here is, hopefully It'll be good :)

Haha no and I don't think I will ever try. I can hardly even use a pick now that I've started finger picking in the style of Knopfler.
