Introduction

My name is Kevin. I was an active member of the Metacritic Music Forums, years ago. Haven't done this again until now. I've been in the Army Infantry for 18.5 years and will retire at 20. I'm currently in the Wounded Warrior Program and the Warrior Transition Unit. I'm more than ready to reclaim my life. I love many types of music but lately it's been a heavy, classical rotation. Beethoven, Bach, Schubert, Vivaldi, and Brahms to name a few. I also like Pink Floyd, Arcade Fire, Ray Lamontagne, CYHSY, Mumford & Sons, Nick Drake, and many others. Mostly quiet, calm music. I hope my experience here will be a pleasant one as I look forward to discovering new music and people.

Hi, welcome! I am a classical music enthusiast myself. I study it in school.

Welcome to MB Kevin. Very glad to have you aboard.

Pink Floyd, Ray Lamontagne and Nick Drake? I salute you.

See what I did there, I made an army reference.

I'll get my coat....

Well played sir. I tried to think of something witty to return fire with. I can usually employ a barrage of wit. Unfortunately my defenses are down but I'm combatting the problem.

Thanks to all 3 of you for the welcomes.

Defenses? Combatting? I see what you did there.
