"First of all they came to me and asked me to represent a country that's not even mine. 'Would you represent us at the Eurovision Song Contest? No pressure!' I was very young but the song was amazing. I didn't look at it that I was representing everyone, just doing my best. I went and I sang my heart out the best I could and everything went so wonderfully well. I'm really grateful and it helped my career"
-Celine Dion Not the first or last time someone sings for another country. Practically no one writes their own music anymore either, but hires "successful" song writers from anywhere, also one factor why they sing in their own languages less and less I assume. |
We're discussing Eurovision? Say again. I quite liked you up until you went on about the Eurovision. Now I'm not so sure.
|
You started it by mentioning it. Go sit in the corner and think about what you've done.

Nein! Actually, yeah, I guess so. I hope you feel as ashamed as I do. Discussing Eurovision. This is a new low. ;)
|
I have nothing to be ashamed of here, you were the one who pointed ESC out from my intro, you kept the discussion going and I ended it.
A shame this doesn't show up in the New Post page, or everyone could've watched you happily pump your veins up with glitter for a while. :) |
Haha. I think I got away with it. My secret love of Eurovision is still that. :D

Hi Rocky! Sorry I missed your intro thread, but I haven't been around much the last few weeks.
I haven't been here long enough myself to feel qualified to welcome anyone...but welcome anyway. :) |
Eurovision!
