Default Hello! :)

Hi everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. Avid music listener, eclectic taste, and piano player/shower singer. Looking to make new friends with similar musical interests.

I'm also a teacher and a proud mama!

Hi, welcome! I'm a flute player and a teacher to be. Not a mom yet, though... that will be a while yet

What kind of music do you enjoy?

I enjoy a lot of classical/chamber music, because that's what I grew up playing. I also enjoy a lot of bluegrass and jazz. I also have a soft spot for Top 40's kind of music.

What kind of teacher will you be becoming soon? And I started on flute in 6th grade band. I was pretty lousy though.

Oh wow, I love classical and jazz. I think we will get on well!

I want to be a music teacher, eventually. And I wish I could play piano better than I do... I'm not that good at it! My boyfriend is a piano player and has been since he was a little kid, so I leave all the piano music to him.

I used to be a lot better at playing, but ever since I took on a full time job and had my daughter, time for things like that got thin.

The music teacher at our school absolutely loves her job. I know several of my friends from college that went on to become band directors, and they're all enjoying it now. Good luck to you!
