Default Saying hello!

I've been wanting to join a music forum for a while and definitely wanted to join this one when I saw how people were greeted on this introductions bit of the forum!!

I don't really have any experience at saying hello to people on the internet, I'm in uni so the standard tactic of getting drunk to meet new people doesn't quite work here! But I'm originally from London and currently studying in Manchester. It's depressingly wet and windy all the time but hey, there's some decent Stone Roses tribute acts so it all balances out!

I'm not a hardcore music nerd, I couldn't tell you the original release date of the Rolling Stones 3rd EP but invariably leaving work to the last minute has given me the opportunity to discover plenty of new music whilst pulling an all nighter. I try to listen to different music but always seem to be drawn back to Muse, haha. Although at the moment I'm into electroswing and as a result definitely wish waistcoats and bow ties were exceptable everyday wear!

Probably the biggest regret of my life is my complete inability to sing, play music, understand music or tell if something's out of tune. Although it does mean that when people are cringing at dodgy singing at pub gigs I'm perfectly happily bopping along.

Anyways, sorry for the long introduction post, if I manage to introduce one person here to a new band I'll consider that an achievement.
