Hockeyman Intro

Well my name is Hockeyman. I am a canadian from Montreal and I like to consider myself a witty gentleman. I have gone to school for bartending and auto mechanics. I am currently in school for accounting and finance. I work as a soccer referee and a free lance bartender around Montreal.

Since this is a music forum I think posting my top 15 songs will gather the most interest from people rather than me talking about which team I think will win the Stanley Cup.

15 Gallows Pole - Neil Young
14 Blue Monday - New Order
13 Bad Company - Bad Company
12 Dumb - Nirvana
11 A.D.H.D - Kendrick Lamar
10 Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
9 What I got – Sublime
8 Double Vision – Foreigner
7 Magic Carpet Ride – Steppenwolf
6 Fly by Night - Rush
5 Possum Kingdom – The Toadies
4 Peace Frog – The Doors
3 Ramble On – Led Zeppelin
2 It’s Gonna Be a Long Night - Ween
1 It’s Only Wednesday – Crash Kings

If you want to know anything about me, please don't be shy to ask.

Welcome to MB, Hockeyman. I think you'll find quite a few soccer fans here as well as music aficionados!

Thanks for listing your favorite songs. Since quite a few are older ones, I'm curious if they are permanently in your top 15, or does your list change much over the years?

Again, welcome to MusicBanter.

Thank you very much for the welcome message :)

Well the older I get the more I can appreciate the little things. I put a lot of thought in coming up with that list to describe myself to a new group of people, but in a few years I'll have learned more about the world and my list has the possibility to change if I gain a new appreciation for a song I didn't quite understand in years earlier.

Welcome to MB btw.

I can only listen to a song based on it's own power as a stand alone. I have listen to Darkside of the Moon and The Wall to find myself still only interested in some individual songs. I appreciate that the good albums are good, but for me I sadly find my self buying "Best of" albums from artists rather than an amazing album they produced.

Thank you for the warm welcome by the way.
