Goodbye!

Just kidding. Hey. I'm new here. Don't worry, I won't make a "Hello Goodbye" joke. I love 1960s Garage and Psychadelic Rock, my first true exposure to the world of music was watching "The Yellow Submarine" growing up, and my favorite band is (oddly enough) Judas Priest. I love all music from Hair Metal to Hip-Hop, and thought it would be fun to find a place to socialize with other music lovers!

Hey. Keep at it man.

Wpnfire 10-12-2014 05:06 PM

Which Judas Priest album is your fave?

Thelonious Monkey 10-12-2014 05:27 PM

Welcome to MB.

What are some of your other favorite bands/artists?

Oriphiel 10-12-2014 08:12 PM

Thanks for the warm welcome! My favorite Judas Priest album is "Sin After Sin". Some other artists I like are The Sonics, The Pandoras, Little Richard, Tommy James and the Shondells, Suzi Quatro, Slade, The Muffs, The Troggs, and more. I also really like finding obscure Psychadelia from the 1960s.

Nice to meet all of you! I'm mostly rooted in older Psych bands (gotta love the fuzz and farfisa), but if someone recommends modern bands to me, i'm always happy to check them out.

Not a heavy metal fan, but my first concert ever was a Judas Priest gig.
I was 13 or 14, my dad took me and it was a great experience. I felt cool and metal as ****.:)

I know a handful, but if you want a good psych recommendation, Mondo Bungle and Frownland are the guys to go to. There's also a thread by DriveYourCarDownToTheSea called Temples and Hookworms: A New Generation of Psychedelic Adventurers, which has some good stuff in it.

My first was an Iron Maiden concert, opened by Alice Cooper. Good times!

Yeah, I'm very keen on them. Actually, I went to Baltimore to see them live not too long ago. Rob rode out on his motorcycle. Heh, I had a blast!
