Default Hi, My name is MuzaickDave!

Hello, I am new here and just wanted to introduce myself and learn some things. I am in love with music and have come here to learn from people who know more than me about it. If you could just let me know your favorite threads and any advice to help the learning curve. I am going to be reading the official thread for newbies. Looking forward to being a contributing member of this forum.

Cheers!

Welcome, Dave. Glad to hear you did your research and read the thread; that alone elavates you above the average newcomer.

Thanks Pet Sounds! I don't think you realized the nice rhyme in your post, haha.

"read the thread"

Justin, My favorite bands honestly fluctuate. The steady ones are Iron and Wine and Alice in Chains. Everything else can be Phoenix one day and Opeth the next. I really love finding new stuff. Its a great feeling. How about you?

And hear I was thinking we were getting off to a good start.

Also, I don't like Nickelback. They were my first rock band I ever listened to.

I went through a Nickleback phase in my teens. Then Alice in Chains and Nirvana happened.

So,Pet_Sounds I see you are from Canada... I guess that means you are a Rush fan?

Check my music journal to see the sort of stuff I listen to. I am a bit like you, in that I tend to give anything a try. But do make yourself comfortable here, as their is a lot of like-minded individuals on here. If maybe you want to educate yourself with heavy metal, this is the thread for you. If you are a huge fan of metal, Trollheart is currently doing this annual month long review showcase. It is called Metal Month, and this is the second year for it. You can start here. If you are fan of folk music, Pet_Sounds has you covered here. There is generally a ton of awesome member journals that you can find here, but they are some of my favorites. Enjoy your stay.
