Default Hello!

I stumbled onto this forum and was surprised to find that I registered 4 years ago, which makes this post long overdue. :p I love listening to music, playing music, and talking about music.

I play bass guitar and noddle around a bit on my acoustic guitar, primarily writing songs (mostly 3 chord pop songs, lulz) for myself. The music scene in the city I live in is not really that great. There are some classic rock cover bands, fusion bands (Indian classical and rock), and Indian classical musicians. We have a metal scene, but I don't really dig that stuff. There isn't really much of an audience for blues, rock, and jazz - the kind of music I listen to.

I've lately been listening to blues-rock (early Fleetwood Mac, Rory Gallagher, Free, etc..) and have been trying to get into jazz (mostly by listening to cool jazz and some tunes based on the blues), and classical music, so I'll be sure to check out any recommendations. Funk music has always fascinated me, with the syncopated bass lines, killer drum-beats and all.

There aren't many people who I get to talk music with, and this forum seems to be interesting, so I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.

Welcome.
What are your favorite blues-rock albums right now?
