<Generic modestly witty introductory title>

Hello all, I'm Jonts from the northwest UK. Mainly I just like to pick up tipoffs for new avenues of music I like to explore, but and I'm more than happy to add the odd comment from time to time if it might help someone to do the same.

Seems customary to list music you like with your intro: suffice to say for gentler stuff I am very fond of singer songwriter types along the line of Jeff Buckley, Tori Amos, Dustin Kensrue, Nicks Cave and Drake...anyone with a distinctive and versatile voice.

But then at the other end we've got some pretty dark, angry, noisy stuff like Architects, Deftones, Dillinger, Mudvayne, Tool....anyone with a decent drummer, it seems.

Favourite band of all time has to be Thrice though, the Radiohead of the alternative rock/metal world.

Hope to see you out there and make your acquaintance whoever you might be, I'm a firm believer that we're all dear friends that just haven't met or found the right common ground yet

I think it's cute that you consider those bands to be noisy.

And the fact that you said Thrice is the Radiohead of the metal world makes me want to punch you in the face. First off, Thrice isn't remotely metal. Secondly, even if they were, they still wouldn't be the Radiohead of metal. They aren't the Radiohead of anything.

You can't expect me not to say anything. I've been pretty good lately. You can't expect me not to say anything here. I had to say something.
