Somewhat new at this... But hello!

Haha, nice! Thanks for the welcome! Alrighty, I'll give it a shot and try to not sound confusing or stupid. I heard this song called "No more disguise" By Thievery corporation, and I thought it was amazing.

I looked at more of their work and at similar artists but it didnt capture what I was searching for. What I have found is a lot of bossa nova, chill jazz music (which I am digging), but what I am searching for is more of the atmosphere of the song, the old school hollywood(dont know how else to describe it) sound of the swelling strings and the vocals. "Diamonds are forever" is the only other song I can think of that remotely has what I'm trying to find. Sorry this is so vague and thank you for showing interest.
