Ahoy!

Good day to you all, from the land of Disney!
World, that is.

I had been contemplating about joining a forum for a long while now.
It's been around 5-7 years since I last participated in a message board, and I felt it was about time that I try and get back into the swing of things.
I hope y'all are alright with me settling down here.

A little about me: Born in one Disney state, and currently live in the other Disney state (I'd swear the mouse haunts me...), I spend my days listening to either music or the sounds of nature. I'm an aspiring Video Game Designer, with a wee inkling of a dream to do lutherie on the side.

That about sums it up.

I hope to simply have a good time here! :)

EDIT: My name is Mike. How could I forget such a simple thing to put in here??

At first I thought your screen name was "Spinnerfuck". Kinda disappointed TBH.

Spinnertick 03-31-2016 06:36 PM

I definitely will be keeping that new name in mind for future reference. Thank you! Sorry for the disappointment though.

Welcome Mike... or do you prefer Mickey?

I saw your location and then got that new Animal Collective song stuck in my head...

Good song, so welcome anyways!

Also, had to look up lutherie, haha. Very interesting though, how'd you get your start (if you've done it before of course)?

Seriously the catchiest tune they've ever written, shame the rest of the album doesn't live up to that standard.

Also, welcome mate! I typically visit Florida once a year on vacation, absolutely love it there.

Meh, the rest of it can be good at times but it's mostly just boring. There's a few other really good tracks on it though.

And Florida? From Canada? Quite a pilgrimage I'd say. Any particular reason or just vacation/Disney?

One of my best friends has family that live down there during the winter, so we usually drive down (a 3 day drive from where I live) and spend a couple weeks. Definitely a pretty sweet deal on my side, and I've been making the trip with him/his family for 5 or 6 years now.

Very cool, Florida is like California east.

Minus the perfect climate, beautiful landscape, cool cities, and virtually everything else that makes California appealing except for the palm trees.
