It is NOT natural for a man to find a woman's armpit hair unattractive, it's definitely something society instills in us. The hair we grow is natural, and there's nothing wrong with it.

If a woman has to shave herself to feel sexier, then she really needs to work on her self-esteem. As women, our bodies are naturally sexy, shaved or not. and the part about "there's nothin feminine about a hairy girl", are you ****ing joking? How does having body hair detract from our femininity? Unless we're growing full beards, I don't think letting our fuzz grow makes us any less womanly.

Spell check told me it wasn't a word. I used it anyways.

I guess most women around here need to work on their self-esteem then. I'm sorry, there's absolutely zero part of me that finds armpit hair on a woman attractive in even the slightest way. It's gross. Whether it's instilled by society OR natural, that really doesn't matter to me. All I know is that a bush under the arms is a surefire way to murder my boner in about 2 seconds.

And no, I'm not joking. I associate shaved armpits with women, as I would think most guys would. It's what I consider feminine. As for womens bodies being naturally sexy, i completely disagree. Like I said, there's nothing attractive to me about a jungle under the clothes.

I don't give a **** what you think is feminine, you're a man. Men don't define what makes us feminine.

Dirty 10-19-2010 09:52 AM

Yes I am. :D I am a man who strictly has sex with shaved women.

You don't have to care, it's not a concern of mine whether you value male opinions or not. I don't define feminine as having hairy armpits. :)

Sansa Stark 10-19-2010 09:55 AM

Apparently you're not a man, you are a little boy.

Dirty 10-19-2010 09:59 AM

Because I don't find hairy armpits arousing?

Ummm... ok? That makes sense.

Some of them certainly try, though, don't they! Men must feel pigeonholed by women sometimes, too.

The thing about underarm hair and "femininity" that always struck me as very odd is how a thing that women naturally have...hair growing from their armpits...is somehow considered not womanly. Yet armpit hair is female hair. Made from female hair cells that contain XX chromosomes. And the whole biological purpose of underarm hair apparently is to signal sexual maturity.

Distaste for hair on women's bodies just shows the strength of culture and the maleabliity of human minds, for better or worse.

Thanks for sticking up for those of us who have our hair, Paloma. My underarm hair salutes you! (And it probably could! ;))

By your definition any woman who could grow a full beard should keep it rather than shave it. It's only natural.

^ by seconds.

Female beards are unattractive too, but hey...that's just me.

Actually, facial hair in women can develop from medical hormonal imbalances and thus is a symptom of some deeper health problem.

Anyways, point is, if the woman wants to keep her beard, she oughtta do it.

Erroneous.

Great minds, RT...

I'd rather hear a debate between a guy who likes hairy woman, and a female who likes being completely shaved.
