Stu's a pretty handsome young man. I think it's the Kevin Barnes factor.

I had a gun applied to my face when I got my ring put in, about 4 years ago now. Unbeknownst to me at the time, a needle should be used.

I remember walking out of the piercer, light-headed as fuck, and having to sit on a curb with my head between my knees whilst my fried dashed to the shop to get me a can of coke, that's how hardcore I am

And thank you very much, Kevin Barnes is a cool fellow, better than being likened to Brian Molko (you're still in my good books Downward)

On the piercing, it's not just a needle, for cartilage piercing you have to use a 14g needle (which ofc is bigger) and a 16g ring, otherwise it'll heal all ****ed up. I don't know why shops use the gun for anything but lobes, but it's ridiculous. My mom had her ear cartilage done like that and it was a big mess, but then I did her whole upper ear, 4 in total, with one of my needles and it heals over perfectly.

If you're starting to go bald now would be good time to cut your hair short. I used to have hair as long as yours and I was losing a lot of it so I decided to get it cut just over a year and a half ago. Seems to have stopped the balding, or at least slowed it down somewhat! It's hard to bring yourself to cut your hair short but it's kind of worth it in the end.
