That is absolutely adorable. I love bats. One of my favorite things about caving is all of the adorable bats all tucked away in the crevices of the cave walls. Too cute.

as much as any other wild animal does....they just got a bad rap for a bit of a rabies scare

i hit a bat with a tennis racket once. it was doing laps of the house in a repetitive manner, i laid on the floor with my calves tucked under my thighs and when it came around i shot up and served it proper. i honestly didn't think i would land it cuz they fly so erratically and quick, but i did, and i did it good. it shot across the room and half exploded when it hit the wall right under a plate my mom had hung up on the wall. i felt bad, but bats in the house make my heart beat too fast for comfort.
