Default Hello from Norway

Hello everyone,

I am Frederika and I am currently staying in Norway for my studies. Although my field of study is completely unrelated with the arts (I study computer science), I always felt the need to be creative as a way to express myself. I started learning how to play the violin and the ocarina somewhat late (at 20 years old) and still going for 5 years straight. I recently started learning how to play the piano, drawing and opera singing too.

Music has a special place in my heart. Listening to music can be a source of inspiration for my drawings, as images and emotions pop up while I am listening. It also makes me relax when I am stressed. I cannot say I have a favorite genre of music, since it is dependent on my emotional state. However, I always choose music that remediates my current state.

I came to this website to have conversations with people, who also enjoy listening\playing music and wish to be creative in general.

You came to the right place.

Welcome.

Also just list a few bands that you like at any given time. We also have people that play instruments here and like being creative.

Here are some of the bands that I listen to from time to time.

Buck tick
Moi dix Mois
Dir en Grey
Metallica
Sabaton

(Video game OSTs)
Theresia: Dear Emile
Every Castlevania OST

When I need to relax, I want to hear anything instrumental, no words needed. When I need to wake up, I will go for power metal, because of how epic it can be. I also like symphonic metal as well. This is why I am not consistent. Because each genre serves a particular purpose.
