Hey everyone. I've been looking for a community with which I can talk about my favorite music. Hopefully MusicBanter treats me well.

I love emo-folk, some punk, and, oddly, some RnB from the good old days. I've most recently listened to the likes of Joie de Vivre, Taking Back Sunday, American Football, Drake (the rapper) and Red House Painters (a folk-rock band).

If it all sounds like sad music, it's because it is lol. I'm mostly looking to incorporate more joyful tunes into my daily mix, and to make some new friends.

Welcome to the site. Joyful tunes are a tricky one because a lot of great music tends to be on the sad side.

I know of at least two American Football and Red House Painters fans on this site, but no so much me. I can probably help you with happy music though, since I'm a cheesy mother****er who's all about fun and no taste.
