Just found this, I used to spend a lot of time on sports forums but sports isnt holding my attention much lately.

Long time music fan, tribal in my youth but these days quite eclectic. From Scotland but lived in usa usa usa since 91, currently in North Carolina.

ICP are trying to be dumb but they're actually dumb so they both succeed and fail in a myriad of different ways that are actually kind of hard to parse since you're never quite sure where the hamfisted theatricality ends and the diamond-in-the-rough talent begins. This is why they're so often dismissed out of hand since most people who easily recognize the former do not wish to delve into figuring it out or even recognizing that the latter exists. I suspect even ICP don't know and if they did it would probably ruin them.

There are plenty of goofy white trash who don't need to understand what ICP are or are not about because they understand what ICP are expressly on about. I'm just a weirdo who has ideas about ICP that ICP would probably not understand or maybe be surprised that their fanbase pick up on. Which is fine but there's a whole level of understanding to white trash entertainment that's worth delving into afaic. ICP being the most interesting.
