Good members of this board, I'm not sure what to do.

I just got a PM from a mod warning me about my postings.

I wanted to reply, but when I click "Submit Message" it doesn't show up, nor has he responded to my post on his visitor message.

His statements are incorrect, but there's pretty well no use arguing with a mod as they tend to win in the end—often quickly.

I don't know what to do.

Times like these one tends to second-guess oneself a bit.

So this is what I'll try:

post that which I've already spent some time and effort doing so: I'll likely be done in a few hours and a few posts, including answering whatever few come to this thread.

Then stop and leave, perhaps for a few weeks. Maybe the mod needs to cool down and maybe my presence currently triggers him.

I intend to return to the forum I was spending a fair amount of time at. Their music threads aren't as good as here, but the traffic's greater and they are less censorious.

If I am banned, I like to thank everyone for their replies, even the antagonistic at times amused me.

I wish you all, the mods, and this site well.

Cheers.

You posted a pic with tits. That's against the rules. I imagine that's all it is. Just don't post pics with tits and you'll be fine. Chill out.

No it's not.

I read them.

One can't depend on imagination when dealing with mods—they might imagine things differently. They can crush [the "r" spoken as an uvular] an account with the push of a button.

Will I? My post count isn't even at 100 (will it ever be 100, I wonder).

I am: one might say I'm enjoying my last meal.

Farewell, Dharma & Greg: it was good to know you. :wavey:

I mean I don't know what you read but I've been here for eight years and I was here when the sight went hardcore against posting anything with tits so tits are off limits.

rostasi 02-24-2019 09:08 PM

Is there any mention in the rules about
banning posters who exhibit infobesity?

Maybe it's just me, but I think if one's going to have rules, they should be explicit and if need be, detailed.

This site might not as cool as I thought—too many hang-ups, man.

Nope, but it does say this:
Quote:

• While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks, trolling, purposeless inflammatory posts or members deliberately provoking another member into committing any of these acts.
No offense, rostasi, particularly as some of it might be good—perhaps quite good—but how much of the 10s of hours of music have you posted on this thread do you expect people to listen to: Random Radio. This is not a criticism, but a request to explain an apparent inconsistency.

also,
(my bold)
Quote:

The original methods and creation of electronic music was
sound-based and not rhythm-based (as it is today for most
people under 30 years old) and so there’s a generational
difference when it comes to a definition of “electronic music.”
you mean music like this?:

That mentioned, if you don't like my verbosity, you can put me on ignore—unless you are somewhat conflicted between having to suffer my verbosity with what you might think are great posts of mine, or doing without both. If so, I'm sorry, but you'll have to figure that one out as I do with many threads and people here.

I, however, cannot put a ban on ignore.
