Default New Here :)

Hello, I've been lurking for awhile and decided to bite the bullet and make an account here to discuss music. My favorite genre is probably downtempo (big fan of Portishead especially) but I love listening to new stuff and am interested in finding more albums/bands to explore.
I don't play any instruments or anything like that sadly, just a listener.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Trip Hop leads to Prog. Everybody knows that.

So what are your thoughts on Broadcast, Brazillian Girls, Pram, Thievery Corporation, Air, The United States of America? (n.b. they're not all trip hop/downtempo bands, j/c)

When I think of Portishead I think of Spy music, and when I think of Spy music I think of Beluga by Pram.
