Hi all. I've been slightly bored the last couple of days and was randomly looking for some place to throw some words... I'm a music fan mostly in to avant-garde, experimental, musique concrete, weirdo music, noise, ethnographical, some modern classical, some prog, kraut, electronics, free jazz, list goes on. Maybe what could be considered "other music"?
I've been heavily in to buying records last couple of years, looking mostly for fun obscurities or hidden gems.
I see there isn't much activity in these fields on this forum recently, but looking back I see some interesting names being covered. So I thought maybe I could throw some threads out there and see what happens... to cure my boredom.

You are more than welcome to talk about these genres. It's encouraged. Check the subforums. I'm pretty active on there with youtube clips in the jazz and avantgarde sections. Nothing too discussion filled though on the reg.

Those are some cool genres. I haven’t been here for the longest while, except just randomly lurking from time to time, but if you start some cool avantgarde threads I might jump on and say something again.
