Smile Greetings From A New Member!

Hello, my name is Tracey, I'm 40 and enjoy listening to a wide genre of music. I live in the UK. Some of my favourite bands/musicians are -
Rush, Manic Street Preachers, Simple Minds, Runrig, Boards Of Canada, The Jerry Cans, Great Lake Swimmers, Great Big Sea, The Tragically Hip, Ennio Morricone, The Fugees, Jimmy Eat World, Blondie, Kashtin, The Beach Boys and many more.
Pleased to meet you all and look forward to having various music related chats. Hope you are all keeping well and safe during this difficult pandemic time! I think we are all looking forward to getting back to proper gigs soon!

Welcome! I'm a big fan of some of the bands you mention. And now the important question: who is your favourite Spice Girl?

Welcome to MB, BritishPenguin! I like your username: nice animal, great nationality, and in combination, makes me imagine that you are posting from the Outer Hebrides or something.
I hope you enjoy yourself here. Some days it may seem quite, but on those days, there is plenty of old material to explore.

Yes, I was about to ask the same question myself!

Bands with four-letter names? Neapolitan forgot to mention Love for some reason, so after favourite Spice Girl, this is the next important question:-
Have you heard their album Forever Changes? What do you think of it?

Thanks Lisnaholic! My username comes from my supporting the Pittsburgh Penguins ice hockey team (love most sports!). I'm half Scottish but live in England. I look forward to exploring more of this site! Thanks for the warm welcomes! I don't own any Spice Girls albums so can't comment on entire albums. I was a bit of a rock snob in my youth but I've grown to appreciate alot of the pop music I wasn't so keen on to begin with.

Hi, BP. I notice you listed three bands I'd rate on my all time list (Beach Boys, Manic Stret Preachers, and Blondie). Hope to see you hang around.

My Type 1 Diabetes got diagnosed after I passed out just after the beginning of the Manics Holy Bible 20th Anniversary tour second half of set (a drunken person squished me, nuff said!). I came round to the strains of Tolerate if I remember correctly. Ended up being carted off to hospital. I'm so rock n' roll! lol!
