Welcome to the forum.

What are some of your favourite artists, and have you found any good music on your search yet?

Welcome!

Folk/rock/country? Check out some Marcus King. He's all of those and he's new-ish.

Glad you're liking him, he's a phenomenal guitar player and his vocal timbre is raw but melodic.

With all the bands I see listed, you might also like some Tedeschi Trucks Band as well.

I already knew Tedeschi Trucks Band and some songs are ok, but I don't listen TTB very often.

I’m from NC! Hadn’t heard of the durham band but there’s tons of good softer stuff here as well as the hard stuff. Check out Carolina Chocolate Drops, though they’re more old-time/bluegrass

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Welcome to MB, HZH ! I hope you enjoy yourself here.

From your list of artists, I like the ones where you said "Many years ago I listened to..." but everything after that was a completely new name to me, so I clearly have some up-dating to do !

Yep, Tristan ! I love their clear, pure sound, don't you?
