Hi everyone, I'm Oliver and new to Music Banter.

I wanted to find an alternative to social media platforms, a more structured format, and the two that came up on a search were Steve Hoffman forum and this one!

So apart from successfully hooking up an avatar (not figured that yet) I'm profile complete I think and look forward to making some new friends here.

You can set your avatar by going to user cp, then you'll get a menu on the left with a change avatar option. That'll give you a tiny avatar though, if you want a reasonably sized one you can either use the avatar requests thread (you can find the link to that thread in the guide to musicbanter, which is somewhere in the introductions forum) or pm the avatar file to me or one of the other mods (but check the size restrictions!). If that seems weirdly complicated, that's because it is; that's all part of forums being Old Skool I guess

But anyway, tell us about what music you like, your favourite houseplant, or any other noteworthy information

Thanks Marie Monday. I thought it was something like, you know, new to forums, privileges, number of posts required before you can... anyway I'll try again.

Also, my text is looking miniscule. That must be a default thing so I will try and enlarge it this time.

I'm guessing he tripped balls during a house party in which someone had Stuart Little playing on the TV.
