Default Hello

I was looking for a good place to discuss my favourite music with like-minded people. Most of my irl friends look at me like a crazy person when I talk about all the different kinds of music I like, and when I try to introduce them to things that aren't in the top 40 I get the brush off.

So here I am, I like all genres of music (Yes, that includes Jazz and Country) but the genres I mostly gravitate around are Rock, Metal, Electronic, and Hip-Hop. But to me if it sounds good, it is good.

I play the guitar a bit, and have a few ideas for a music zine that I'm working on. Because I really like to review albums or trends in current music, because I feel that the big publications and radio don't do a good job of representing good music these days. But rant aside, glad to be here!

Red face

I'm sorry to tell you but this site is Top 40 & K Pop, with a hideous Anthony Fantano knowledge of underground i.e. there are members here who don't like Trout Mask Replica. Be prepared to talk Bob Dylan or Jandek. There's no in between.

Even worse, there are people here that do like Trout Mask Replica.

Touché. I am one of those people. I listen to the album, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a grand achievement. I can also add to my credentials that I played Revolution 9 backwards once.
