Hi everyone, I'm Luuk. I'm 14 years old, and I'm new here! I live in a city in the east of the Netherlands, near the border to Germany. I'm in the second grade in high school. I also play guitar for over 8 years. I started with acoustic, but I've been playing electric for 3 years now. I just started my first band. I especially like old rock, pop and acoustic folk and country music from the 70s and 60s, from for example The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, Elvis, The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, CSNY and those kinds of artists and bands. I collect CDs and LPs, but I also just listen to music on Spotify, and I also make playlists there. A few months ago I started making a playlist with my favorite songs from the 70s. You can find it on spotify when you search for my account (Luuk Music). The name from the playlist is 'Luuk's Best Of 70s'. I'm very curious what you think about it, and I'm also curious if you have any tips for artists, bands or songs that I can still put in the list so that it becomes as complete as possible! I think it will take a while before I fully understand this website and all, but I am very curious and I can't wait to get to know you!

Welcome. We have a few Dutch people here. Just a piece of advice though: don't go advertising your music/spotify/soundcloud, especially on the first post. Our rules forbid that. Some good bands in there; a fan of the Eagles and Springsteen definitely, also Seger, Dan Fogelberg, Carole King, Jackson Browne and Bowie, among others. Have a look around, say hi. We're (mostly) friendly here, though our sense of humour might take a little getting used to.

Edit: scratch what I said about promotion: I see it's just a Spotify list of your favourite music. That's fine. I mistakely thought you were talking about your own music that was on the platform. Apologies. Carry on.
