Just found this place today...

I'm Jangly Mark, a skinny indie kid from Swansea, South Wales, UK.

My main loves are indiepop, anything from early Belle& Sebastian, pretty much anything on Sarah Records, Magnetic Fields, Tullycraft, c86/twee etc...

Also love a bit of shoegaze, space rock, 60's psych, indie-folk.....and so much more...

Very much a winter person, utterly love snow (which doesn't happen anywhere near enough here) and crisp frosty days.

I don't do so well in the summer, really don't like the heat (a nice warm 15c would do me in the summer....anything hotter than that....ugh!).

I do like hot food, though and love a curry (jungli laal maas & pili pili handi being among my favourite dishes).

Not into sport at all, with the exception of snooker.

I also release music, but, will refrain from any details for now...if/when I'm a regular on here, maybe then...I see that coming on here just to promote yourself is frowned upon....fair enough....

I'm also very politically minded and very much on the left....

Feel free to wave, offer me a virtual drink or smoke, or even say hello....

I guess it would be a vodka & coke, generally my tipple when I'm out.

My introduction to Belle & Sebastian was from a friend/local DJ, who, when it came out, told me to check out "Dog On Wheels" as it sounded "a bit like Authur Lee's Love", something I can totally see.........

.........listened to it, liked and bought it, then fell in love with the whole EP at home. The follow up, "Lazy Line Painter Jane" EP sealed the deal for me (and having a crush on someone called Jenny at the time likely helped as well)....

Is there a Twitter-esque limit on post length on here? Have had to break this reply into two....

Oh, ok. Not sure what happened there, then....it definately did put a limit on the length of my post.

Happened when the scroll bar on the right of the typing box reached the bottom...wouldn't let me type any more.

Posted an album review yesterday, which I copied and pasted which went through fine in it's entirity.
