Default Urban Jazz

I don't know if this is a catagory or if anyone even makes music like this, but when rap acts throw a rap drum machine behind jazz instruments, I don't know what it is, but it connects with me.

(Notorious B.I.G. Things Done Changed, Gang Starr Jazz Thing)

Are there any acts that have this "urban jazz" sound without lyrics?

I've heard the collection Mushroom Jazz, and that was pretty on point to what I was looking for. Anyone else know what i mean, with that pretty up tempo beat and laid back sax/paino.
