Oh please don't.... :) and to be quite honest, I think I've got most of the music I want. What I mean is, I'm a lazy f**ker, and can't be arsed chasing around song titles and artists!! I know what you're thinking now - you're thinking : "You ungrateful f**ker". Well, I'm not ungrateful, I do the same as you're doing, and refer music to people I know, and if I do it to my friends, they frown and grunt, because they really can't be arsed finding the stuff!! Anyway, thanks for helping. Meanwhile, I'll carry on listening to 'Green Onions'. :) - Mates?

Haha, don't sweat mate.

However, you are missing out on a vast amount of unknown and rare material (If you love 60's R&B and Soul that is).

Believe me the stuff released by Motown and the likes of Atlantic records is just the tip of a massive iceberg.
There's some quality tunes out there still undiscovered.

Because of this thread I did a bit of digging around on the net about this song and discovered Booker T Jones recorded 'Green Onions' aged 16 and on it's release two years later it sold over a million copies.

Incredible. Some people have all the talent!

Right-track, I'm not sweating!! I just don't want you to get the wrong end of the stick, if you know what I mean.

I was working at a BBQ joint a couple of years back and this guy came in and said he was Booker T's Roommate in College. He started telling me all these stories. It was pretty cool.

**Bump**

My knowledge of Booker T & MG's is non existence but I have been given an album by Booker T Jones called Potato Hole. On one listen I must say that I was rather impressed. http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov...41804oqb34.jpg

Great band, love Cropper's guitar work, the entire band is killer. My fave BTMG's is them backing Redding at Monterey, they smoked with their hardcore R&B as the dazed hippies looked on, and backing Albert King on his Born Under A Bad Sign LP.
