Default Mind Blowing

I just picked up the Thelonious Monk Quartet with John Coltrane at Carnegie Hall.

I guess this was a concert unreleased until now. it starts off slow but it picks up the pace. This whole disc keeps moving and I'd never heard Monk before but this is certainly some piano. I recommend this to anyone out there.

An excellent choice, and don't stop there with Monk, or Coltrane for that matter.

Coltrane is hit or miss with me. I'll keep rolling with Monk, but Coltrane has some stuff I just do not care for.

One of the best albums released last year. Honestly, I find boths artists enjoyable but not amazing but this combo of them together works really well.
