Default Blues

Hey, newbie here. I'm 16 years old (17 soon), and I never really started listening to the Blues until my love for Chicago unfolded. You get to Chicago and you go to the diners there and there's so much culture and character. The Blues is awesome. May sound strange coming from a 16 year old, but I love the Blues. Right now I'm listening to Bluesville on XM Radio on DirecTV. Lovin' it!
Anybody else listen to XM Radio Blues?

I like blues too and I'm only 18. Blues were the like beginning of everything, so you've got to at least respect it.

What kind of blues you most interested in? I'm more into Chicago Blues(when everything started going electric) like Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf.

I like it all right now. I don't know too much about it yet to really say anything.

I really like Byther Smith and Freddie King, but I'm finding it difficult to find any stuff online. I have an album by each on cassette but I really can't be bothered to set my PC up to record it.

Being from chicago, my musical tastes are sharply shaped by blues influences.
a few of my favorites are Magic Sam's "West Side Soul" and Elmore James' "The Sky Is Crying".

if you want
i could give you alot more recommendations.
i used to be a huge blues fan.

Howlin' Wolf is excellent. Let's not forget T-Bone Walker or BB King, either...
